Our team was formed on December 28, 1996 in Stockton, Missouri by our Coach & Assistant Coach, Jeff and Kristee. It would be almost 9 years before for any "players" would be drafted to join us. Those 9 years were spent preparing ourselves for a lifetime of training our future team. We would be called to many "training camps" (church ministries) in many different cities. We met many people who trained us. Some trained us well, some not so well. Many of those people remain apart of our "Training Support Staff" today.
Those 9 years brought much happiness to us. We will always cherish the time spent with just each other. Those 9 years would also bring hard work, sadness, heartache and uncertainty, not only professional but personally.
You see we wanted nothing more than to draft a little player. We suffered a miscarriage and then the loss of our daughter Chara Simone at 18 wks. gestation, due to incompetent cervix. But then in 2005, we official received our first player, Elijah(Eli) Doran . Noah Landry was added the team in 2007. To our surprise, Jonah Corwin joined our team unannounced in 2009. We loved our little team and were content with the number of players. Not feeling like we needed any more unannounced additions, we went to great lengths to permanently remove ourselves from the drafting process.
But then, in 2012, the Head Coach (God) had placed us back in the draft! We couldn't believe it. Could it be true? Could there be room for one more player? Hadn't the salary cap already been met? After consulting with the team physician, we found out the rumors were true. The team was adding a new player! This news traveled through social networking (Facebook) & by word of mouth. The physician himself was stunned. He had never seen an addition be brought about in such a way. Micah Pearce was officially added to the roster in January of 2013.
